I have struggled with an all or nothing mentality with Dieting but part of my plans this year is to learn habits and make them into my lifestyle. Instead I want you to take a moment and really think about what it is you want. You probably want to lose weight and theres nothing wrong with having that goal. But what happen after you lose the weight you wanna lose? Because you cant go back to what you were doing before thats what got you overweight in the first place. After you lose weight HOW you lost it starts to matter. A lot. See if all you cared about was losing weight anything would work. There are people who have lost weight following pretty much every diet plan ever created. But you dont just want to lose weight… You want to go out with friends and feel in complete control of the choices youre making You want to look bomb AF on your kid’s wedding day and not worry about a few slices of cake & glasses of wine You want to go on a tropical vacation with your significant other and feel confident in how you look but also enjoy the food drinks and culture of the places youre visiting You want to live your best life and while losing weight can help you get there its not whatll keep you there. Once youve lost the weight you wanna lose what matters are the habits and mindfulness strategies youve developed.
